Israel Day 3: Jerusalem

  • The Upper Room (traditional site, not actual site) good time worshiping. God's presence comes no matter where, anytime...
  • St. Peter in Gallicantu / Caiaphas House - looked at prison cistern that Jesus may have been in...
  • Sisters of Zion /The Antonia Fortress - actual pavement from 2,000 years ago. Jesus might have been mocked & tortured by Roman soldiers at this site.
  • Walk through Via Delarosa - Road that Jesus took to the Cross. Whole street is surrounded by Arab stores. Can't really think about Jesus' way of suffering when I'm trying to window shop...
  • The Church of the Holy Sepulchre - place that's believe to be Golgotha, where Jesus has been crucified, and risen... super Catholic atmosphere, super crowded...
  • Lunch: Falafel in Fountain Grill & coffee shop. Very good! RL had a good Turkish coffee, I had a mint tea. We refuse to do juice & soda... gotta experience local flavor!
  • Arab quarter - need to fight for the best price
  • Jewish quarter - shops are closed because it's Sabbath. Our senior pastor and worship paster gets lost.
  • Garden Tomb - another location believed to be the crucifixion site. This place is ministered by British organization. Awesome garden, beautiful and peaceful.
